“A safe, supportive and compassionate space to explore your breath, at your own pace.”

Training & lineage

Aimee is certified through the Australian Breathwork Association (ABA) and has dedicated more than a decade to developing her experience in Rebirthing Breathwork, Conscious Connected Breathing, personal transformation and practitioner training. Her teaching stays rooted in the traditional lineage while drawing on more than ten years of hands-on work with clients and students preserving the integrity of the original teachings while making the practice accessible to those seeking self-awareness, relaxation, emotional integration and personal growth.

Working with clients

For over ten years, Aimee has guided individuals and groups through the Rebirthing Breathwork process, supporting a deeper relationship with breath, body, emotions and inner awareness through one-on-one sessions, group classes and educational programs, with people from many different backgrounds and life experiences.

As a trainer

Aimee is committed to sharing the knowledge and practical experience she has built along the way supporting students not just in learning technique, but in developing the presence, confidence, compassion and integrity required to facilitate breathwork for others. Her intention: to honour the lineage, share the power and simplicity of the breath, and help others discover their own capacity for transformation.

The practice

What is rebirthing breathwork?

Rebirthing breathwork is a gentle, structured breathing technique in which the inhale and exhale merge into one continuous, circular rhythm. This style of conscious connected breathing moves the body out of everyday stress response and into deep relaxation. It is in that relaxed state that the body does its own healing work, releasing tension that has often been held for years without us noticing.

Unlike passive relaxation techniques, the practice is active and intuitive. You stay fully conscious throughout, guided by a trained practitioner, while the breath itself unwinds physical and emotional tension. Most people describe their first session as unexpectedly powerful: part physical release, part emotional clarity.

  • You stay awake, aware and in control the whole way through
  • Nothing to learn beforehand, the rhythm is guided out loud
  • Lie down, stay clothed, no chanting and no performance

What happens in a session

Four stages, one continuous breath

Every rebirthing breathwork session follows the same clear structure, in Brunswick and online, so you always know what is coming next.

STAGE 01 Settle and check in A short conversation about how you are arriving, anything to be careful of, and what you would like from the session.
STAGE 02 Find the rhythm Lying down, you are talked into the circular breath until inhale and exhale connect without a pause.
STAGE 03 The active breath Around 30 minutes of guided breathing, with a practitioner keeping you in rhythm while sensation and emotion move.
STAGE 04 Rest and integrate The breath softens, you rest in stillness, and we talk through anything that surfaced before you leave.

What you can expect

What people notice after a session

Every rebirthing breathwork session is different, but most participants report a combination of the following.

Emotional release Conscious connected breathing gently surfaces and releases emotion held in the body, often without needing to talk it through first.
Nervous system regulation The circular breath pattern at the centre of rebirthing breathwork helps shift the body out of fight or flight and into a parasympathetic, rest and repair state.
Deep relaxation and clarity Many people leave feeling as though they have had a full night's sleep: calm, clear headed and less reactive to daily stress.
Increased vitality As tension releases, energy that was previously tied up in stress and bracing becomes available again.
Reconnection with self At its core this is a practice of self reconnection. Many participants describe a renewed sense of intuition and self trust.
Held, not rushed A practitioner keeps you in breath and in the room, so you are never left processing what comes up on your own.

Frequently asked

Before you book

Is rebirthing breathwork safe?

Yes, for most people. Sessions are guided by a trained practitioner and adapted to your experience level. If you have a cardiovascular condition, are pregnant, or have a history of severe mental illness, speak with us before booking. We will advise honestly on whether group, private, or another approach is the right fit.

Do I need any experience to join a class?

No. Every class and session, whether in Brunswick or online, is guided from the first breath. No prior experience or fitness level is required.

How is this different from meditation?

Meditation typically works by quieting the mind through stillness. This practice works through active, continuous breathing that engages the body directly, often producing a more immediate physical and emotional release.

What should I wear and bring?

Loose, comfortable clothing you can lie down in, plus warm socks and a water bottle. Mats, bolsters and blankets are provided at the Brunswick studio. For online sessions you will want a mat or bed, a blanket, and headphones.

How many sessions will I need?

One session is enough to feel the effect and decide if the practice suits you. For focused personal work we typically recommend a series of ten private sessions to fully integrate the technique and its benefits.

What if I need to cancel?

Let us know at least 24 hours before your booking and we will move you to another class at no cost. [Confirm your own cancellation terms before publishing.]
